As required by French law, legal fees are fixed by mutual agreement according to, among otherissues: custom, the client’s financial standing and the difficulty of the case.
Hourly rate is the most common fee arrangement. The client will be charged for each hour worked on the case.
According to the preliminary agreement and depending on the complexity of the case, a client can be proposed a fixed fee.
In some circumstances, it is possible to agree upon supplementary fees depending on the outcome of the case, in addition to an hourly rate.
